Dale Boil Advisory Lifted

Officials with the Town of Dale have lifted a boil advisory issued for customers of the town’s water utility earlier this week.

On Monday town officials  reported that a main water line was ruptured by a utility company, sending pressure within the water lines to a level that could permit the introduction of untreated water into the water mains thus prompting the boil advisory.

At that time, customers were encouraged to boil all water that was being used in the preparation of food and for drinking. Residents and businesses were also advised to cover water fountains, shut off ice machines, refrain from serving fountain drinks and boil water.

Once again, officials with the Town of Dale have lifted a boil advisory issued for customers of the town’s water utility earlier this week.
