Daniel Ray Jochim, age 58, of Huntingburg, passed away at 2:55 a.m.,Monday, February 8, 2016, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

Daniel Jochim new Obituary Photo560_edited-1            He was born May 6, 1957, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Oliver Ray and Elsie Marie (Werne) Jochim.  Mr. Jochim was employed as an extrusion operator at Spencer Industries and was a member of the Huntingburg V.F.W. Post #2366.  He served in the United States Navy as a Torpedoman’s Mate for two terms of active duty.  Daniel was preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by:

One son,

Eric Jochim of Huntingburg, Ind.;

One daughter,

Danielle Jochim of Jasper, Ind.;

One brother,

Frank Jochim of Huntingburg, Ind.;

One sister,

Mary Wright of Arizona;

and one grandson, Little Ray Jochim.

Memorial services for Daniel R. Jochim will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.S.T., theSunday after next, on February 21st, 2016, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with military rites conducted by the V.F.W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail.
