Joseph C. Steffen, age 63, of Ireland, Indiana, passed away at 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday (April 5, 2016) at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper.

Joseph SteffenJoe was born in Jasper, Indiana on January 12, 1953 to Clarence and Verena (Kunkler) Steffen. He married Jan Padgett on August 10, 1973 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Joe retired from Jasper Engines and Transmissions after 25 years of service.

He was a member of the Huntingburg Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He enjoyed helping with his church and spending time with friends and family.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Funeral services for Joseph C. Steffen will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday (April 8, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper, IN. Brian Wilson will officiate.

Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday (April 7, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, IN.
