A Huntingburg man was taken into custody Sunday evening after he was involved in a domestic dispute in the city that authorities  say involved a gun.

Around a quarter till nine last night, Huntingburg Police were called to a residence located along the 600 block of East 4th Street.
13256441_1425281914164163_2795196504134987727_nWhen they arrived they make contact with 49-year old Carl Young and Kenwyn Patton who’s age and address was not disclosed by authorities.

Details of the incident were also not given by police but they do say that Young was arrested and taken to the Dubois County Security Center in Jasper where he was booked on a charge of a level 4 felony count possession of a firearm by a serious violent Felon.13241208_1425282150830806_7397918903639397002_n

Huntingburg Police were assisted at the scene by the Indiana State Police, the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department and the Department of Child Services.
