Edna Anna Kasprzycki , 92, formerly of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Westover Assisted Living, Hamilton, Ohio on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at age 92.

She was born to Edward H. and Clara B. (Kippenbrock) Weyer at Ferdinand, IN. on May 23, 1924.

Edna married Walter Eugene Kasprzycki on January 29, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio. They celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary in 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 2014, her sisters, Marcella Pauckner and Alberta Weyer, and her brother Edward T. Weyer.

Edna is survived by her two loving daughters, Nancy Kasprzycki of Adelaide, Australia and Joan Kasprzycki-Strauss of Houston, Texas, Joan’s husband Edmund Strauss, her brother Clarence Weyer and sister-in-law Lucille Weyer of Ferdinand, Indiana, and her extended family.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fairfield, Ohio.

She will be greatly missed. The family wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to Westover Retirement Community for the four years of professional care shown to their family and also Crossroads Hospice for the wonderful care that was given to their mother in recent weeks.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8:00 PM EST and Wednesday from 7-9:30 AM EST at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM EST in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com
