Emily M. Rasche, age 72 of Jasper passed away at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at her home.

She was born in Jasper, Indiana on January 1, 1945 to Carl J (Bun) and Wilma (Brown) Giesler.

Emily retired from Kimball Electronics where she had worked for 30 years. She previously worked for Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center medicals records.

She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper – Jasper Moose Lodge #1175 and the VFW Auxiliary.

She enjoyed her grandchildren socializing with her friends.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Elliott Rasche and one brother, Carl C. “Junie” Giesler. Step-granddaughter, Crysta Lockyear.

Mass of Christian burial for Emily Rasche will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2017, in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper.
Visitation on Sunday 12:00 (Noon) to 4:00 p.m. at Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center.
