Officials with the Dubois County Highway Department say due to rain that has been falling so far this morning and more that is in the forecast for at least the next 24 hours, they have decided to postpone the closing of Holland Road East between County Road 600 West and 500 West.

The department says crews will instead shut down that stretch of roadway beginning at 8 am this Wednesday March the 8th and say it will remain closed till this Friday March 10th at 3 pm.

The closure is due to a culvert replacement in the area and is still weather permitting.
