Susanne M. Seger, Age 81 of Dubois, Indiana passed away at 8:45 p.m. CDT Friday in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana.

She was born in Jasper, Indiana on October 6, 1935 to John and Catherine (Thais) Burke. She married James A. Seger October 3, 1957 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Susanne was a graduate of Jasper High School Class of 1953.

She, along with her husband, owned and operated a poultry farm operation in the Dubois area.

She is a member of St. Isidore Catholic Parish – St. Raphael’s Church. She was Past president of the Ladies Sodality of St. Raphael’s Parish also member of church choir and past member of the Dubois Community Club.

She had a passion for art, sewing, gardening, enjoyed hummingbirds and loved family get-togethers and playing cards.

Three great grandchildren; Landon Uppencamp, Gibson Hall and Rhett Neukam.

Preceded her in death are five brothers;
Max Burke, Carl Burke, Richard Burke, Stan Burke and Bob Burke.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Susanne Seger will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois with burial to follow in St. Raphael’s Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. A rosary will be held at 1:45 p.m. Monday by St. Members of St. Raphael Parish at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center, St. Isidore Parish or to a favorite charity.
