Mildred Mae Bridge, age 89, of Holland, Indiana, passed away at 12:30 p.m., E.D.T., on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Northwood Retirement Community, Jasper, IN.

Mildred was born September 1, 1927, in Royal Oak Township, Michigan to Lee Harris and Fernie Iva (Fillmore) Weldon. She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Thomas Bridge on November 6, 1948 at Holy Name Church in Birmingham, Michigan. She was a homemaker and in years past, had been a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Huntingburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lawrence Bridge; two brothers, John D. and Lealand B. Weldon.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Bridge; seven children, Lynn Allison, Deborah Semifero, William “Lee” Bridge, Joel Bridge, Nanette (John) Hankins, Steven (Joanne) Bridge and Joanne Kennard; a brother; Howard J. Weldon; by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren .

A funeral mass will be celebrated for Mildred Mae Bridge on Saturday, June 17th at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg. Fr. Ryan Hilderbrand will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
