Harvey H. Dilger, age 79 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 1:02 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.

Harvey was born in Mariah Hill, Indiana on August 11, 1938 to Richard F. and Gertrude (Bettag) Dilger.  He married Betty L. Woebkenberg on September 9, 1961 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale.

Harvey retired from Kimball International after 45 years of service.  He was also a self-employed painter.

He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, IN, and served in the Indiana Army National Guard.

Surviving is his wife Betty, one daughter, Karen Tuell and husband Charles Jr., Jasper, one son, Brian  L. Dilger, Plainfield, IN,  four grandchildren, Lori and Holly Dilger, and Dillon and Josh Tuell, two sisters, Patricia Douglas and Jackie Meyer, both of Dale, and one brother, Tim Dilger and wife Barb of Jasper.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Harvey H. Dilger will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper, IN.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service time at Holy Family Catholic Church on Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center, or to a favorite charity.
