Karen S. Jones, age 75, of Stendal, passed away at 1:15 p.m., on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at her residence.

She was born January 4, 1942, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Elmer and Ida (Hagemeyer) Luker; and married Clayburn L. Jones on January 7, 1963. Karen was a homemaker; a former nurse’s aide at St. Joseph’s Hospital; and a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Austin, Robert, Paul and Kern Luker.

Karen is survived by her husband, Clayburn L. Jones of Stendal; two sons, Duane L. (Ann) Jones of Stendal and Darren (Amber) Jones of Evansville; one brother, Donald Luker of Stendal; by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Stendal. Pastor Ed Wicks will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, the day of the funeral. Memorials can be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Condolences may be shared online at: www.nassandson.com
