Bernadette “Bernie” Zoglman, age 85 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 10:36 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at home.

Bernie was born in Spencer County, Indiana on February 6, 1932 to Joseph and Katherine (Konerding) Altman. She married Alvin M. Zoglman on November 19, 1949 at St. Meinrad Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on January 5, 1983.

Bernie retired from Kimball Electronics in Jasper.

She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and fishing, baking, and cooking.

Surviving is one daughter, Marla Braunecker (Kenny), St. Anthony, two sons, Dennis Zoglman (Linda), Haysville, and Scott Zoglman (Diane), Jasper, four grandchildren, and one sister, Pauline Morrow (Cliff), Castroville, TX.
Preceding her in death besides her husband was one son, Ernie Zoglman, one sister, Marie Altman and six brothers, Leo, Albert, Clarence, Robert, and Sylvester Altman, and brother Leo who died in childbirth.

A Mass of Christian burial for Bernadette “Bernie” Zoglman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, September 9, 2017
