Earl W. Hulsman, age 62, of Ireland, Indiana, passed away at 12:40 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

Earl was born in Jasper, Indiana, on September 6, 1955, to Rudolph “Rudy” and Leona (Knies) Hulsman. He married Joanne Roelle on May 24, 1981, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana.

He was a 1973 graduate of Jasper High School.

He was an electrician at Hulsman Electric, where he had worked for 50 years.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, the Ireland K of C, and the Ireland Water Board. He was also a member of the Ireland Jeep Club.

Surviving are his wife, Joanne Hulsman, Ireland, IN, one daughter, Sabrina Hulsman, and her fiancé, Bradley Brumley, Louisville, KY, two grandchildren, Mia Belle Hulsman and Liam Brumley, Louisville, KY, his mother, Leona Hulsman, Ireland, IN, one sister, Cheryl Hoffman (Mike), Jasper, IN, three brothers, Doug Hulsman and companion, Pat, Ireland, IN, Ron Hulsman (Doris), Ireland, IN, and Jeff Hulsman (Joyce), Celestine, IN, several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death is his father, Rudolph “Rudy” Hulsman.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Earl W. Hulsman will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana, with burial to follow at a later date.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
