Mary Louise Fenneman, age 83, of Holland, passed away at 4:10 a.m., on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was born November 3, 1933, in Perry County, Indiana to William Arthur and Elsie (McCallister) Tanner; and married Bobby Jerome Fenneman on June 2, 1956, in Tell City. Mary was an employee at General Electric in Tell City for 35 ½ years; a member of Holland United Methodist Church; and a 50 year+ member of the Eastern Star with current membership held with the Birdseye Order of the Eastern Star #590. Mary loved quilting and along with her husband Bob, created 200+ quilt tops yearly which were given to St. James Lutheran Church for the wider Lutheran World Relief efforts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jerome “Bob” Fenneman, who died July 23, 2016; one daughter, Carmen Fenneman Lucas; six siblings, Charles Tanner, Zelda Tanner, Arthur Tanner, Martha Tanner Anderson, Raymond Tanner and Elsie Catherine Tanner Vandgrift; and by one grandson-in-law, Steve Czekalski, who died June of 2016.

Mary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol (Mark) Simpson of Ellicott City, Maryland; one sister, Marcella Vandgrift of Tullahoma, Tennessee; and two granddaughters, Chelsea Czekalski and Heather Simpson both of Maryland.

Funeral services for Mary Louise Fenneman will be held at 10:00 a.m., September 30th, 2017, on a Saturday, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Holland Methodist Cemetery in Holland. Reverend Keith Chanley will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on September 29th, 2017, on a Friday. An Eastern Star vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday evening, at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared online at: www.nassandson.com
