James E. Harbison, age 60, of Huntingburg, passed away at 10:14 a.m., on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born January 14, 1957, in Washington, Indiana to Bill and Betty (Fry) Harbison; and married Kristine M. Lanman on June 18, 1977, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg. Jim was a self-employed electrician and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Harbison.

He is survived by his wife, Kristine M. Harbison of Huntingburg; two children, Leslie Fuhs of Dubois and Craig Harbison of Huntingburg; his mother, Betty Harbison of Jasper; three siblings, Billy (Stacie) Harbison of Loogootee, Kathy Kuebler of Huntingburg and Sue (Lane) Dobbs of Loogootee; by two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for James E. Harbison will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with Rev. Fr. Ryan Hilderbrand officiating.
