Authorities are looking for a witness or two who can help them solve a two car accident that took place Tuesday morning at a north side Jasper intersection that injured three people.

Jasper Police say just after 8:30 am yesterday a pickup driven by 68-year old Donald Giesler of Jasper was headed south bound on Highway 231 near Baden Strasse.

Meanwhile police say an SUV driven by 69-year old Sara Wellman also of Jasper was headed east bound on Baden Strasse crossing 231 and the two vehicles collided.

Giesler complained of pain to his hand while Wellman and an unidentified passenger complained of pain to their entire bodies.

They were taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police are trying to put the pieces together to find who was at fault in the accident and are asking the public’s help to see if anyone witness the accident. Jasper police were assisted at the scene by the Indiana State Police.
