Irma J. Bromm, age 90, of St. Anthony, Indiana, passed away at 9:06 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2017 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Irma was born in St. Anthony, Indiana on March 6, 1927, to August and Clara (Miller) Troxler. She married Othmar “Ottie” Bromm on May 22, 1947, in St. Anthony Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2013.

Irma was a homemaker and member of Divine Mercy Parish – St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony Legion Auxiliary, and the St. Anthony Community Center.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching T.V., especially General Hospital.

Surviving are, three sons, James Bromm, St. Anthony, IN, David Bromm, and his wife, Dana, Jasper, IN, Randy Bromm, and his girlfriend Tammy Hyde, St. Anthony, IN, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are one son, Larry J. Bromm, one granddaughter, Jennifer Bromm, ond daughter-in-law, Betty (Bromm) Ingle, seven sisters, Cornelia Hauser, Augusta Sternberg, Beatrice Elmore, Ruth Klueh, Marian Schmidt, and Clara Margarida, and one brother, Anthony Troxler.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Irma J. Bromm will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A Visitation will be held from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Parish or to a favorite charity.
