A Jasper man found himself behind bars after police received a tip of outstanding warrants for his arrest.

46-year old Troy Faulkner, of Jasper, wound up behind bars this week after Jasper Police received an anonymous complaint that Faulkner was facing warrant for his arrest out of Wisconsin.

On Wednesday, November 1st, police were able to confirm that Faulkner had warrants for 5, Class 1 felony counts of Failure to Support, out of the City of Mauston, Juneau County, Wisconsin thus allowing full extradition.

Police located Faulkner at his place of employment, confirmed his identity and placed him under arrest. During a search of Faulkner police located a synthetic cannibinoid and paraphernalia on his person.

Faulkner was transported to the Dubois County Security Center where he is being held on local charges of possession as well as the warrants out of Wisconsin.
