Paul Joseph Buschkoetter, age 67, of Petersburg, passed away at 5:25 p.m., on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born January 19, 1950, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Ben and Lucilla (Heim) Buschkoetter. Paul was a retired truck driver; a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg; and loved spending time with his dog. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian (Fahnders) Buschkoetter, who died February 7, 2003; three brothers, Martin, Anthony and John Buschkoetter; and his sister and brother-in-law, Bertha (Bob) Veller.

Paul is survived by two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lillian (Art) Sickbert of Jasper and Mary Lou (Albert) Sander of Huntingburg; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Ben (Deb) Buschkoetter, Jr. of Huntingburg and Charles (Wanda) Buschkoetter of Dubois; and two sisters-in-law, Marsha Buschkoetter of Huntingburg and Sharon Buschkoetter of Jasper.

Funeral services for Paul Buschkoetter will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Ryan Hilderbrand.
