Norma C. Truelove, age 81 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 5:15 a.m. CST on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.

Norma was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on June 5, 1936 to Anselim and Emma (Reckelhoff) Heitz.  She married Jackie D. Truelove on June 30, 1962 at the Schnitzelbank in Jasper, IN.

Norma retired from the Dubois County Rural Electric Cooperative after 40 years of service.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

She enjoyed traveling, her cats, watching birds, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Jackie D. Truelove, Jasper, one daughter, Lynn Judy (Randy), Jasper, one son, Michael Truelove (Lena), Huntingburg, four granddaughters, Natasha Edmondson, Dana Judy, Verna Dillon, Jessica Dillon, three great grandchildren, Gabriel, Xavier, and Cora Mae Edmonson, one sister, Mary Lou Blessinger, Huntingburg.

Preceding her in death was one sister, Sally Heitz, and one brother, Robert Heitz.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Norma C. Truelove will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, IN, with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Huntingburg, Indiana.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
