Rosina M. Friedman, age 92, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 10:57 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Rosina was born in Jasper, Indiana, on October 24, 1925, to John and Ida (Brinkman) Obermeier.

She worked for Huntingburg Wood Products for several years.

She was an avid quilter, and enjoyed needlework.

Surviving are one daughter, Pauline “Penny” Wood, Huntingburg, IN, two sons, Jerome “Jerry” (Sandy)Staats, Sanford, FL, Kenneth (Pansy) Friedman, Dale, IN, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, one sister, Alberta Obermeier, Jasper, IN.

Preceding her in death were one son Kevin Friedman, one daughter, Karen Friedman, who died in infancy, one sister, Esther Seng, and two brothers, Jerome and Albert Obermeier.

Funeral services for Rosina M. Friedman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel on Friday.
