The number of rural roadways that have been closed down in Dubois County thanks to the recent rainfall has doubled from the last 24 hours.
The Dubois County Highway Department says high water due those rains has now resulted in the closure of 6 roads across the county.
Roads closed since Wednesday include:
County Road 400 South East of US 231
Old Road 64 West of Patoka Road
and 1st Street – Huntingburg West of County Road 75 West.
The number of rural roadways across the county is expected to rise over the next several days to say the least with more and more rainfall expected through the early part of the weekend.
