Henry “Frank” Huff, age 90, of St. Anthony, Indiana passed away at 6:55 p.m., on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Cypress Grove Rehab Center in Newburgh.

He was born November 26, 1927, in Birdseye, Indiana to Clifford and Elsie (Waddle) Huff; and married Kathleen Bean on May 22, 1948, in Birdseye.  Frank served in the Army Air Force during World War II; worked as a Superintendent at the Ferdinand State Forest, as parts manager at Armstrong’s John Deer and retired as a parts manager from Stone & Stemle.  He was an elder at the Anderson Valley Christian Church where he sang in the choir; was a member Bethlehem Masonic Lodge #574 F&AM where he served as past Secretary and Worshipful Master; was a member of Birdseye Eastern Star #590; past president of Cox Cemetery; member of St. Anthony American Legion Post #493; past precinct committeeman for the Republican Party; and was affectionately known as the “Mayor” of Kyana.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen B. Huff, who passed away July 20, 2002; one daughter, Glenda Schroeder; three siblings, John Arthur Huff, Riley Huff and Margaret Schroeder; and granddaughter, Rachel K. Huff.

He is survived by five children, David (Laura) Huff of Maryville, Tennessee, Herbert (Kathy) Huff of Birdseye, Janice (Dean) Lytle of Birdseye, Karen (Tommy) Mason of Eckerty and Sharon Wright of Eckerty; one sister, Nora Fleck of Birdseye; by (14) grandchildren and (21) great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Frank Huff will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, February 5, 2018, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Cox Cemetery near Kyana.  The St. Anthony American Legion Post #493 Memorial Detail will conduct military graveside rites.  Pastor Chuck Crews will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Sunday.  A Masonic memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday evening, at the funeral home.  Condolences may be shared with the family online at:  www.nassandson.com
