Kenneth R. Humbert, age 64, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 9:50 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018, at home.

Kenny was born in  Jasper, Indiana, on October 12, 1953, to Lawrence and Bernice (Stemle) Humbert.  He married Wanda F. Parsons on January 6, 1990, and she preceded him in death on July 21, 1995.  He then married Teresa Denning on May 17, 1996.

He worked at Dubois REC for 30 years, and currently owned Deerview Camp.

He was a member of St. Isidore Parish – St. Celestine Catholic Church, the Army National Guard, the Jasper Moose, and the Celestine Community Club.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife Teresa Humbert, Birdseye, IN, two daughters, Kris Kendall (Phil), Jasper, IN, Kelli Faulkenberg, Jasper, IN, two sons, Cody Humbert (Holly), Celestine, IN, Corey Humbert (Lori), Jasper, IN,  one step-daughter, April Smith (Brian), Jasper, IN, two step-sons, Shane Fawks (Angie) Haysville, IN, Shawn Fawks, Huntingburg, IN, 10 grandchildren, his mother, Bernice Humbert, Jasper, IN, one brother, Glenn Humbert (Cheryl), Jasper, IN, several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his wife, Wanda Humbert, his father, Lawrence Humbert and one brother Marvin Humbert.

A Mass of Christian burial for Kenneth R. Humbert will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at St. Celestine Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Parish or a favorite charity.
