Plans are underway for Mentors for Youth annual Super Strikes Event. The public is invited to attend and participate in Jasper, on Friday, April 20th at Eastown Lanes and in Huntingburg, on Saturday April 21st at Breakaway Lanes.
Ellen Corn, executive director of Mentors says they are currently seeking team captains and bowlers to participate in this year’s events. She notes that each team consists of 1 to 5 people with a suggested minimum of $500 raised by each team. She says the money raised will continue to fund the mission of Mentors for Youth.
Team may register online at www.mentors4youth.com. Registration is required and each team will receive a t-shirt for all team members and 1 game of bowling.
Super Strikes is Mentors for Youth’s signature fundraising event. Funds raised by Super Strikes enable the organization to fulfill its mission of facilitating mutually beneficial relationships between youth and volunteers for the purpose of enhancing individual lives and the community.
Mentors for Youth is fully funded by donations from Dubois County residents and businesses.
For 30 years the organization has been supported by the generous giving of the community, which has allowed them to operate and serve youth in need.

Mentors for Youth serves Dubois County children ages 6-14. Throughout the year they provide matches and waiting youth with 10-12 outings, Christmas gifts, and school supplies.
