Barbara Zink, 82, of Mansfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home. She was born on June 17, 1935 in Richland City, Indiana. Barbara was the daughter of Lester and Ona Mae (Jones) Hagan.

Barbara lived most of her life in Huntingburg, Indiana , and she graduated from Rockport High School in Rockport, Indiana. This was a huge accomplishment and one she was very proud of as she was the first in her family to graduate. A few words that could describe Barbara are caring, patient, loving and faithful. She was a doting grandmother who adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a marvelous cook and made the best chimichangas and peanut brittle. In her spare time, she enjoyed the game of triominoes and crochet, enjoyed reading about the Royal family and current events. She enjoyed sports and was an Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Cardinals, and Indiana Pacers fan. She was a faithful member and supported both the Christian Life Church in Mansfield and Calvary Temple Pentecostal in Huntingburg.

She is survived by her son, David (Tammy) Zink of Mansfield; grandchildren, Ann Powell, Bronson (Barbara) Eckert, Stephanie (Brian) Robnett, Kyle (Alissa) Zink, John Messer, Alaina (Marvin) Smith, and Kimberly (Josh) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Eirka, Brice, Melanie, Macey, Paris, Katie, Nick, Dillon, Ava, Breanna, Ryan, Ethan, Claire, Evan, Alexa, Harley, Lily, Jesse, Gage, and Emma; sister, Loretta Underhill of Rockport, Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Franklin “Frankie” Zink; daughter, Debra Eckert; and a brother, Lester Donald Hagan.

Friends may call for visitation from 4:00-8:00 pm on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Nass and Son Funeral Home inHuntingburg.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Nass and Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.
