Jasper Backyard to Host Outdoor Movie Night

Jasper’s Backyard, a newly formed nonprofit, will hold another outdoor movie night event on Saturday, April 7, at the Jasper Middle School.

Activities start at 5:00 p.m. with face painting, corn hole and giant Jenga. Adventures Recreation and DC Multisport will be providing bike safety tips and fitting kids and adults for bikes and helmets. With the help of Memorial Hospital Foundation they will also be giving away a limited number of bike helmets. Concessions will be available for purchase and a Bloomington based food truck, Gypsy Moon Nosh Wagon, will be serving unique, made from scratch goodies. The movie will begin at dusk.

The movie and activities are all free and open to the public. In the event of inclement weather, all activities will be rescheduled for May 19. For up to date info, go to jaspersbackyard.org, to Jasper’s Backyard Facebook page or, contact Shaun Skerbitz at (805) 315-5894.

Jasper’s Backyard’s offers a community event to promote family bonding and create a greater sense of community.
