The Jasper Police arrested two women following a report of an impaired driver on Sunday evening.

26-year-old Lorena Castro of Dale was arrested Sunday evening for an OWI after the Jasper Police Department responded to the report of impaired driver.

Jasper Police made contact with Castro and her passenger 25-year-old Brenda Juarez at South Side Holiday Liquors just before 9 p.m. last night.

Juarez was taken into custody and transported to the Dubois County Security Center. She is facing preliminary charges of Battery on a Public Safety Official a Level 6 Felony, Resisting Law Enforcement a Class A Misdemeanor, and Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication both Class B Misdemeanors.
