Margaret Mae Springston, 87, of Selvin, Indiana passed away April 13, 2018, at her home.  She was born July 11, 1930, in Wheatcroft, Kentucky to the late Sybil and Homer Holland.

Margaret was a member of Selvin United Methodist Church.  She was very active in her church and community.  Margaret always looked forward to spending time with her family and was a person concerned about her neighbors and willing to help them in any way possible.

Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Grenade Springston; her son, Keith Springston; three sisters; and two brothers.

Margaret is remembered with love by her daughter, Brenda Beard (Steve) and two sons, Steve Springston and Duane Springston (Sheila), all of Selvin; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Springston Kirk of Newburgh; eight grandchildren, Brett Beard (Holly), Brian Beard (Lynne), Jason Springston (Malinda), Tamara Fowler (Rich), Stephanie DuPont (Jason), Amber Duncan, Keith Springston, and Samantha Springston; twelve great grandchildren, Brandon Beard, Bryce Beard, Rich Fowler, Allison Beard, Shelby Beard, Aaron Beard, Katherine Springston, Dustin DuPont, Christopher Springston, Drew DuPont, Dillon DuPont, and Cierra Duncan; one great-great granddaughter, Lennox Beard; three sisters, Betty Moore, Phyllis Bee, and Cindy Phelps; and one brother, Jerry Holland.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T. (10:00 a.m., C.D.T.), at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Selvin Cemetery in Selvin, Indiana.  Pastor Karen Sureck will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 3:00-8:00 p.m., E.D.T. (2:00-7:00 p.m., C.D.T.), Tuesday, April 17th; and also one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday.  Memorial contributions may be made to Selvin United Methodist Church, Pigeon Township Memorial Community Center, or Pigeon Township Volunteer Fire Department.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com
