Officials with the Jasper Water Department say the boil order that was issued for residents and businesses on the city’s southeast side has been lifted.

The boil order was put into place late Monday evening for residential and business customers in the Rolling Hills area including:

• A

• B

• C

• E

• Hillbrook

• Raymond

• and Highland Streets

• Along with St. James Street

• Hill Road, Energy Drive

• and 3rd Avenue from Liberty Street to South Meridian Road

Also affected was the Redemption Christian Church

• and the the offices of the Dubois Rual Electric Cooperative

Department officials say the water is safe for human and pet consumption. They say if your water has some discoloration, please run your cold water tap until it clears.
