Naomi P. Kenworthy, age 88, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 3:50 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018, at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, Indiana.

Naomi was born in Orange County, Indiana, on March 20, 1930, to Bernard and Florence (Morgenroth) Stetter.  She married Verlin C. Kenworthy on September 13, 1951, in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mars Hill, Indiana.  He preceded her in death on February 14, 2018.

Naomi was a homemaker and was a seamstress at Siebert’s in Jasper.

Naomi was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Post #673 Auxiliary.

She enjoyed making rosaries for the World Mission and the Rosary Fundidation, which provided Rosaries to penitentiaries across the United States and across the world.  She also enjoy ceramics and needlepoint.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol Wonnell, Lebanon, IN, Kathleen (Joe) Mantione, Boulder, CO, three sons, Robert (Tessie) Kenworthy, San Diego, CA, Randall Kenworthy, Nashville, GA, Ronald (Cathy) Kenworthy, Louisville, KY, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, one sister, Elizabeth Egler, Ferdinand, IN.

Preceding her in death besides her husband, are two sisters Florence Margaret Hill and Bernidene Margaret Metz and six brothers, Leroy Jerome, Alfred George, Joseph Bernard, George Edward, Frank Elmer, and Walter Lee Stetter

Funeral services for Naomi P. Kenworthy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Patoka Lake Memorial Cemetery in French Lick, Indiana.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, IN, and two hours before services from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the church on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, or to a favorite charity.
