The first stop of the 2018 WBDC Cornhole Tournament of Champions was held at the St Henry Heinrichsdorf Fest Saturday.

J.D. Underhill and Stephen Hayes won the double-elimination match in the Pro-Division of the WBDC Cornhole Match.

“Part Timers” moved to the championship round after defeating “In For The Win” in the quarter finals. J.D. and Stephen then defeated “In For The Win” comprised of Mick Hochgesang and Kyle Brown in the championship round at St Henry.

Part Timers will now move on to the Tournament of Champions at the Huntingburg Herbstfest on Saturday, September 22st.

The Cornhole Tournament also includes an amateur division for all ages at each site. Twelve (12) teams entered into the single-elimination amateur division.

Winners included the “Dirt Bags” comprised of Lester Sickbert and Travis Knight. The next stop of the Tournament of Champions will be held this Friday, June 15th, at the Ferdinand Heimatfest.

Registration will start at 6 pm Eastern Time and throwing will begin at 7.

WBDC is taking pre-registrations now by calling (812) 634-9232 or go online at WBDC.us. The cost is $10 per pro team and all pro team members must be at least 18 years of age.

The Amateur Division is open to all ages and no pre-registration is needed. Following the Festival Tournaments, WBDC will crown their 2018 Cornhole Tournament of Champions with a double-elimination tournament of the 14 teams who have won during the season or are point’s leaders.
