A traffic stop for speeding eventually ended with the arrest of a Jasper woman Tuesday morning who was wanted on a warrant out of Warrick County.

Around a quarter after 9 am yesterday an officer with the Jasper Police Department clocked a passenger car travelling 39 mph in a 25 mph zone on South Newton Street near Los Bravos.

A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as 35-year old Juana Hernandez of Jasper had an Indiana ID card that was Suspended with a Prior.

It was also learned that Juana had an active warrant through Warrick County.

After confirming Warrick County would extradite for the warrant, She was taken into custody and booked into the Dubois County Security Center for Driving While Suspended with a Prior and the Warrick County Warrant.
