Warren J. Meyer, age 86, of Holland, passed away at 10:08 a.m., Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born August 29, 1931, in Holland, to Walter H. and Louise (Wittrock) Meyer. Warren worked as a custodian at the Augustana Church and Holland Elementary School where he enjoyed participating in the school’s activities. He also worked for the Huntingburg Street Department and Parks Department. Warren was a member of the Augustana United Church of Christ in Holland, where he was the bell ringer for 58 years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Warren is survived by friends and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the Augustana United Church of Christ in Holland with burial to follow at Augustana Cemetery. Pastor Debbie Roe will officiate at the service.
Friends may call for visitation at the Augustana United Church of Christ from 9:00-11:00 a.m., Wednesday, the day of the service.
