Rosalie C. Streicher, age 90 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2108 at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, Indiana.

Rosalie was born on December 10, 1927 in Schnellville, Indiana to Louis and Angela (Merkley) Haas.  She married Linus Streicher on June 1, 1950 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, IN.  He preceded her in death on November 17, 2010.

She was a homemaker and also worked for the Dubois County Treasurers Office.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and their Blessed Virgin Sodality.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, praying the rosary, and tending the flowers in the garden.

Surviving is one son, Richard Streicher (Lisa), Jasper, three daughters, Marilyn Lampert (Myron), Jasper, Linda Gatewood, Evansville, and Brenda Streicher of Huntingburg. Six grandchildren, April Crew, Ashley Lampert, Logan McKinney, and Chris, Craig, and Kendra Streicher, one great grandchild, Leo Lampert Schmitt.

Preceding her in death beside her husband was one brother, Gilbert Haas, and four sisters, Lucille Wissel, Alberta Persohn, Mildred Haas, and Mary Lou Bunke.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosalie C. Streicher will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper. The Holy Family Blessed Virgin Sodality will pray the rosary at 8:45 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, Northwood Retirement Community, or a favorite charity.
