The report of a domestic situation at a Jasper residence early Tuesday morning led to the arrest of a Jasper woman on not just a battery charge but on drug related charges as well.

Around 6:30 a.m. yesterday, the Jasper Police Department received a 911 call from male who told authorities that a female acquaintance battered him and broke his nose.

Police say the woman, identified as 40-year old Christina Bodkins of Jasper, had left the residence but was later located by police in the parking lot of her place of employment.  During a search, police say they found drug paraphernalia and marijuana as well.

Bodkins was placed under arrest and was taken to the Dubois County Security Center where she was booked for misdemeanor counts of domestic battery, possession of marijuana with a prior, and possession of paraphernalia.
