All non emergency government offices both county and municipal in Dubois County will be closed this Thursday and Friday November 22nd and 23rd in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
City offices in Jasper, including Jasper City Hall, the Jasper Street Department and all Utilities Administrative offices, will be closed this Thursday the 22nd and Friday the 23rd. The Resource and Recovery Site at the street department will be shut down this Saturday November the 24th as well.
Residents are reminded that trash and regular recycling that would typically be collected Thursday will be picked up tomorrow (WEDNESDAY) November 21st while trash and regular recycling normally picked up on Friday will be collected next Monday November 26th instead.
Pickup of trash and recycling for the rest of the week will be on the regular schedule. Residents are asked to please place your trash and cardboard recycling at the curbside before 7 am.
Also non emergency offices for the City of Huntingburg, as well as the County of Dubois will be closed this Thursday and Friday for the Thanskgiving Day holiday including the Dubois County Courthouse and courthouse annex.
In the Town of Ferdinand, the Ferdinand Town Hall and Utility Offices will be closed this Thursday November 22nd for the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. Offices in Ferdinand however will reopen Friday November 23rd.
Trash pickup in Ferdinand will be Monday November 26th and will be on the regular schedule. Residents are asked to have trash curbside by 7 am.
