Michael S. Kemker, age 47 of Huntingburg, IN, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida.

Mike was born in Jasper, Indiana on December 30, 1971 to Dr. Bernard and Ellen (Stark) Kemker.  He married Denise Schmitt on December 9th, 1995 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Mike was a Computer Systems Engineer for Mid-America Sports Advantage in Jasper, and a consultant for Ride Tech in Jasper.

He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, outdoor adventures with his family, making people laugh,  playing guitar, designing stereo systems for family, and video games.

Surviving are his wife, Denise Kemker of Huntingburg, one son, Matthew Kemker, Bloomington, IN, father, Dr. Bernard P. Kemker Sr.,(Sue), Jasper, two sisters, Dr. Susan Kemker (Dr. Alvin Pam), White Plains, N.Y., and Kate Kemker, (Kaaren Fox) Cooperstown, NY, four brothers, Dr. Bernard Kemker Jr. (Janice), Jasper, David Kemker, North Hollywood, CA, Dr. Stephen Kemker (Dr. Kalen Carty-Kemker), Salem, IN, and Ken Kemker (Audrey), Ireland.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Ellen S. Kemker.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Michael S. Kemker will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, IN.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.  The Holy Family Parish will pray the rosary at 1:30 p.m. and the Jasper High-School Class of 1990 will hold a prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, the Dubois County Humane Society, or the wishes of the family.
