Donna Faye Kluesner, age 63 of Dubois, Indiana, passed away at 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana with her family beside her.

Donna was born in Schnellville, Indiana on November 11, 1955 to Urban and Leona (Kleinhelter) Persohn.  She married James  “Jelly Bean” Kluesner on  November 12, 1977 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, IN.

Donna worked for Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Parish – St. Raphael’s Church in Dubois, Indiana, where she had sang in the choir, and volunteered for the Church Social.  She was a past member of the Dubois Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.

She enjoyed traveling to visit family, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching them participate in activities.

Surviving are her husband, James “Jelly Bean” Kluesner, Dubois, two daughters, Kirsten Maffenbeier (Adam), Dubois, Lindsie Ring (Daniel), Holland, IN, six grandchildren, Ashlin Mehringer, Ayla Ring, Paxton Mehringer, Noah Ring, Jaiden Mehringer, and Jaxson Maffenbeier, two sisters, Diane Schneider (Tom) and Susie Ficker (Paul), both of Jasper, and one brother, Ray Allen Persohn (Rosie), Jasper.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Donna Faye Kluesner will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Parish, or a favorite charity.
