Leora Hoffman, age 90, of Schnellville, Indiana, passed away at 2:55 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.

Leora was born in Cuzco, Indiana, on June 12, 1928, to Frank T. and Zina (Lewis) Campbell.  She married George Hoffman on May 12, 1953, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, Indiana.  He preceded her in death on February 22, 1999.

Leora was a homemaker and member of Divine Mercy Parish – Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, Indiana, St. Ann’s Society, and the Schnellville Home EC Club.

She enjoyed working puzzles, especially jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, embroidery, playing cards, and gardening.

Surviving are four daughters, Monica (Kenny) Schneider, Schnellville, IN, Deb (Randy) Wiseman, Birdseye, IN, Donna (Brian) King, Birdseye, IN, Martha (Daniel) Neukam, Birdseye, IN, two sons, Mike (Kathy) Hoffman, Birdseye, IN, Greg (Bonnie) Hoffman, Birdseye, IN, 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, four great- great grandchildren, two sisters, Alvina Flory, Fairborn, OH, and Doris Dole, Cincinnati, OH.

Preceding her in death  besides her husband are one daughter, Jackie Atkins, two sisters, Pearl Vinson, and an infant, Grace Campbell, four brothers, Arthur and Aaron Campbell, and two, a set of twins, who died in infancy.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Leora Hoffman will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.  Sacred Heart Parish will pray a rosary at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund, or to a favorite charity.
