As school ends, high school graduation season begins. And many local area schools are holding graduation commencements over the weekend, starting today.
Southridge has 139 students graduating at 7 pm tonight in Memorial Gym. This year’s valedictorian is Michael Kappner, the son of Joe and Stacy Kappner. The salutatorians for 2019 are Cameron Buschkoetter, son of Charlie and Jackie Buschkoetter, and Jayden Hayes, the son of Kevin and Lori Jewell.
Greater Jasper Consolidated Schools has 263 students graduating tonight at 6:30. The valedictorian for the class of 2019 is Isaac Hopf, the son of Chris and Andrea Hopf. The salutatorian for the class is Kyle Hedinger, son of Paul and Annette Hedinger.
Northeast Dubois has 72 students graduating tomorrow at 6 pm eastern. Their valedictorians for the class of 2019 are Zack Ubelhor, son of Perry Ubelhor, and Delaney Rasche, the daughter of Julie and Dwayne Rasche. This year’s salutatorians are Brooklyn Dodd, the daughter of Brandy and Steve Dodd, and Molly Leuken, daughter of Wayne and Pam Lueken.
Forest Park has 81 students graduating tomorrow at 2 pm eastern at Buechler Arena. This year’s valedictorians are Claire Mehling, daughter of Bill and Sharon Mehling of Ferdinand, Reid Steffe, son of Mike and Ann Steffe of Ferdinand, Kate Winkler, daughter of Alan and Debbie Winkler, and Jordyn Wiseman, son of Ron and Shonna Wiseman of Birdseye. The 2019 salutatorian is Katelyn Englert, daughter of Jeff and Pam Englert of Birdseye.
North Daviess High School students graduate tonight at 7 pm at the high school gym. This year’s valedictorians are Cooper Perry the son of John and Jodi Berry, Mattie Len Lawyer, the daughter of Clint and Bridget Lawyer, and Cassandra Knepp, the daughter of Mark and Rhonda Knepp. The salutatorian this year is Chloe Abigail Wilson, the daughter of Chad and Norma Wilson.
Perry Central High Schools has 100 kids graduating on Sunday at 2 pm central. Their class of 2019 valedictorians are Alexandaria Etienne, Jana Neyenhaus, Bill Robertson, Alana Shepers, and Sophia Shelby.
Loogootee Community High School has 66 students graduating today at 7:00 pm. The valedictorians for the class of 2019 are Matthew Chezem, Maxwell Christmas, Sheldan Christmas, and Hope Fischer.
Barr Reeve has 44 students who graduate tomorrow at 11 am. The 2019 valedictorians are Nicole Knepp, Karlena Wagler, and Quentin Yoder. The 2019 salutatorians are Molly Holsopple and Rachel Wilson.
Heritage Hills has 149 students graduating tomorrow at 3:00 pm CST. 2019 valedictorians include Makynsie Bancroft, daughter of Devon and Stephanie Bancroft of Santa Claus and the late Heather Hart of Gentryville, Jenna Burns, daughter of Kevin and Lori Burns of Evanston, and Summer Skelton, daughter of Jeremy and Jennifer Skelton of Gentryville. The 2019 salutatorians are Madison Hagedorn, daughter of Jason and Martha Hagedorn of Dale, and Madeleine Vinson, daughter of Christine Vinsion of Santa Claus and Brian Vinsion of Florida.
