Ruth A. Kluesner, age 65 of Jasper passed away at 9:45 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019, at her home in Jasper.

She was born in Jasper, Indiana on September 3, 1953 to Delmar and Edna (Rees) Mehringer.  She married Marty Kluesner on June 23, 1973 in Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper.

She was a member of Jasper High School Class of 1971.  She worked at the Jasper Rubber Company for 38 years.

She enjoyed watching IU and the Colts, reading, walking and most importantly of all watching her grandchildren play sports and spending time with them.  She also enjoyed family and friends.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father Delmar Mehringer.

Surviving is her husband Marty.

Four grandchildren, Meredith, Brayden, Kiptyn and Kortland.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019 in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at the Becher – Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Humane Society or to St. Joseph Catholic or to the American Cancer Society.
