James Myron Songer, age 58, of Huntingburg, died Thursday, May 30, at his home. 

He was born October 06, 1960, the son of Hugo C. Songer and Janet Larson. He is survived by his parents; his sister, Julie Mae Songer and her husband, John Tappenden; his stepmother, Mae Chinn Songer; and his nephew, Chad Sneed and niece, Nicole Sneed.

Jim graduated from Harrison High School in Evansville, Indiana and from Indiana University School of Business with a degree in marketing.  He loved music and IU sports, especially basketball, and Rock Creek Farm.  Jim had a sunny personality and was loved by his family and many friends.

  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com
