The 2019 Strassenfest Pageant is this Saturday, July 27th at Redemption Christian Church in Jasper at 7 pm. Tickets are available at the door and are $5 each.
This weekend’s pageant includes the Miss Strassenfest, Jr. Miss Strassenfest, and Little Miss and Mister Strassenfest pageants.
All titles will be awarded gifts. Scholarships will be awarded to Miss Strassenfest, Miss 1st Runner Up, Jr. Miss Strassenfest, and Jr. Miss 1st Runner Up.
Here are the 2019 Miss Strassenfest contestants:
Sara Carpenter is the daughter of Cindy and Kurt Carpenter. Carpenter is a junior studying Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Special Education at Butler University. She volunteered at the Purdue Extension Office of Dubois County for her community service project.
Shelby Siddons is the daughter of Kathy Kugler, Glen Siddons, and her step-father Chip Kugler. She will be a junior this fall at Indiana University Southeast, majoring in Psychology with a double minor in Spanish and Communications. Siddons volunteered at the Northwood Retirement Community for her community service project.
Keregyn Masterson is the daughter of Sharon and Patrick Masterson. She will be a freshman this fall at Indiana University Southeast, studying Spanish and Political Science. She volunteered for TOPSoccer for her community service project.
Lydia Shepherd is the daughter of Marsha and Kevin Shepherd. She will be a sophomore this fall studying Elementary Education and Special Education at IU. She volunteered at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center for her community service project.
Grace Truesdale is the daughter of Abby and John Truesdale. She’s a senior at Jasper High School and volunteered for the Rotary Club of Jasper for her community service project.
Brooklyn Thrasher is the daughter of Christy and William Thrasher. She will be a senior at Jasper High School and volunteered for First Baptist Church for her community service project.

Caroline (CC) Hanneman is the daughter of Jenny and Craig Hanneman. She will be a 7th grader this fall at Jasper Middle School. She volunteered at the St. Joseph and Family Catholic Church Vacation Bible School.
Zoey Birkle is the daughter of Teresa and Andrew Birkle. She will be a 7th grader at Jasper Middle School and volunteered for the Dubois County Humane Society.
Lilly Rasche is the daughter of Paula and Aaron Rasche. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School this fall and volunteered for the Crisis Connection.
