A Jasper man was arrested on a multitude of charges late last night.

At approximately 11:55 pm last night, Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Westwood Blvd and Village Ct to a reference of a single vehicle crash. Upon arrival, Officers located a Pontiac Grand AM facing Eastbound in the Northbound lane of Westwood Blvd. The vehicle contained one male occupant, later identified as 36-year-old Chase C. Langdon of Jasper.

It was quickly realized that Langdon that was unresponsive and not breathing normally. Based upon the Langdon’s demeanor he appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Officers administered NARCAN to Langdon and he subsequently came back to a more normal state.

Officers began their investigation into how Langdon became this way and what caused him to wreck. It was determined that Langdon had used Heroin just prior to driving and was also still in possession of Heroin and a syringe. Langdon was transferred to Memorial Hospital for medical clearance and then lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
