Two people were arrested following a home search Wednesday morning.

The Pike County Probation Department conducted a home search at the residence of 25-year-old George W. Pierce the IIIand 27-year-old Alyssa M. Seitz. Dubois County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted in the search.

Police report finding a digital scale and heroin inside the residence.

Pierce and Seitz were booked into the Dubois County Security Center on preliminary charges including Level 6 Felony counts of possession of a narcotic drug; maintain a common nuisance and misdemeanor counts of possession and paraphernalia.

The Dubois County Department of Child Services and Huntingburg Police Department also assisted.
