If you want some good old family fun on Sunday, then you’re in luck!
The annual St. Meinrad Parish fall picnic is tomorrow, a September 15th, from 10 am to 4 pm central time.
The picnic will be opened by Boy Scout Troop 102 presenting colors and honor guard.
There will be live music throughout the day with performances by Troesch Brothers, Shady Tree-O, Hagedorn Family Band, and The Gatwoods.
There is also a new concert this year! The Celebration Singers will perform from noon to 1 pm. An architectural tour of the parish church starts at 1 pm.
Fried chicken dinners will start being served at 10 am.
Winners of the kid’s zone prizes, theme baskets, special quilts, and cash raffle will be announced at 3 p.m.
Parking is available on the parish grounds, with overflow parking at the St. Meinrad Community Center. Handicap parking with shuttle service is offered along Brewery Street. Shuttle service will be available at all parking venues.
A festival tent will be available for dining, along with shaded seating areas on the grounds.
