Two cars are heavily damaged after an accident Sunday in Jasper.

17-year-old David Uebelhor of Jasper and 42-year-old Mario Ramos of Huntingburg were both going eastbound on Division Road near Kuper Lane at 7:00 pm.

Uebelhor rear-ended Ramos after not seeing Ramos diving at a slower speed in front of him.

Both individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, and no injuries were reported.

Ramos’s car has about $12,000 dollars in damages to the rear and Uebelhor’s car has about $4,000 dollars in damages to the front.

Uebelhor was cited for speeding to fast to avoid a collision.
