The Dubois County Local Emergency Planning Committee is hosting a functional exercise for local authorities.

The purpose of this training is to increase the responder’s ability to manage a Hazmat incident. It will focus on a fixed facility Hazmat incident. This is a discussion-based exercise and will allow all first responders to discuss an appropriate response, including proper notifications to all necessary agencies.

This functional exercise will be held on Tuesday, October 29th in Memorial Hospital Medical Arts Conference Room at 6:30 PM.

Local police, fire, EMS, dispatchers, hospital personnel, hazmat teams, industry, safety and environmental managers, and EMA Staff are encouraged to attend.
