Henrietta C. Buechler, age 92 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 10:38 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at home.
 
Henrietta was born in Mariah Hill, Indiana on June 15, 1927 to Paul and Philomina (Schum) Buechler.  She married Clarence A. Buechler on August 25, 1951 in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Ferdinand.  He preceded her in death on March 4, 2004.
 
She was a homemaker and worked part time at Paco’s restaurant in Jasper.
 
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper and their St. Ann’s Sodality.
 
She enjoyed bicycling, gardening, playing cards, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
 
Surviving are one daughter, Ann Sasso (Tony), Colts Neck, N. J., five sons, Paul Buechler (Jean), Shawnee, KS, Dr. Tom Buechler (Julie), Jasper, Tony Buechler (Milissa), Jasper, Jim Buechler (Colleen), Jasper, and John Buechler (Jennifer), Indianapolis, seventeen grandchildren.
 
Preceding her in death besides her husband were three sisters, Alma Kaelin, Marcella Schipp, and Emma Wilmes, and two brothers, Herbert Buechler and Bernard Buechler.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial  for Henrietta C. Buechler will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to  St. Joseph Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
